“There are hundreds, thousands of bookkeeping firms. Why should I choose BookkeeperSA? Isn’t one accountant as good as another?”
Yes, the tools of accounting are the same. The process is the process. The difference is the people, and with BookkeeperSA, the difference is Inna.
Do you think of yourself and your company as ‘survivors’?
You’re working hard, harder than you ever had. Running to catch up, the goal line always moving, you’re in survival mode, in charge of marketing, sales, operations… and finances. You’re learning, so mistakes are made… maybe you’re running your bookkeeping out of your checkbook, or maybe you’re late on your taxes… these are the decisions one has to make when you, and your business, is in survival mode.
“Survival mode” is how Inna began her life. Born in Ukraine, back when it was part of the old Soviet Union in the 1970s, Inna grew up in a farming village of 150 people, one close enough to the Chernobyl plant that she saw the sky light up when it exploded in 1986. Marrying a military man while earning a degree in Russian Literature, Inna literally saw her future melt away when the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, moving to Kyrzgystan with her husband, where she bore her son, Max. Life happens, divorce happens, and Inna found herself an entrepreneur, a single woman raising a son in a country that didn’t exist in 1990.
And, frankly, to the survivor that is Inna, this was still better than being forced by the government to leave school every September to help with the national harvest… as she did every year of her life until 1991!
You’re past survival mode, your business is getting stronger…
At last, things are coming together and your company’s future… while not fully assured… is on stronger legs. You’re developing a reputation for good, honest work; the phone is beginning to ring with referrals, and you are feeling stronger by the day. Your bookkeeping mistakes made in the early days are now behind you, you now rely on BookkeeperSA to handle your accounting, your tax prep, and more.
With the love of a good man, an American serviceman, Inna, and her son moved to the United States in 2008 becoming citizens shortly after. Settling in Salem, Oregon, Inna and her husband started some business ventures – some successful, some not, you know how it goes. It was in this period where Inna’s strengths in bookkeeping, financial acumen, and entrepreneurship truly were built: running a bar, then a restaurant in San Antonio, one has to pay careful attention to the money if you don’t want to end up in massive amounts of debt – a situation Inna definitely avoided.
Finally! The sweet taste of success!
Your hard work is fully paying off. The business is humming, your margins are fat, expenses trim. You’re becoming recognized as a leader in your field, a true success story, one which may not have happened without the survivor-turned-success story which is Inna Kravchuk by your side.
“Try, try again”: the secret to America. It didn’t matter that her restaurant got hit by a flood, Inna knew that her Success would come from the lessons learned in her Strength and Survival days: She was good… damned good… at managing the books, starting her independent practice, BookkeeperSA so she can bring her skills to other businessmen and women. And now Inna… once raised a “Godless Communist” in the Soviet Union, now a faithful member of Oak Hills Church, a successful businesswoman specializing in entrepreneurship in the United States of America… is succeeding in a manner undreamt of by that farm girl born in Ukraine.
And, so, to answer the question above: “Why BookkeeperSA?” It’s simple: Any company can enter records into Quickbooks. But for those of you who want someone just like yourself: a fellow Survivor who used her Strengths to become an American Success story to guide you to the top, Inna at BookkeeperSA is who you want to partner with.
Like you, she’s been there, and she’s thrilled to help.
